Uncreative writing

Throughout our GDES4006 module we will be exploring the affiliations between writing and type – between what words and text say and what they do – and how the context of language can be regarded as being subject to the same structural and compositional principles as any other medium that the designer may encounter.

American Poet Kenneth Goldsmith describes uncreative and conceptual writing as ways that text can be re-conceptualised for the digital age; where words are no longer imprisoned on a page.
